The Case of the “Ángel Albino Corzo” Mixed Military Preparatory School

Abstract

The research was carried out with the purpose of analyzing the new educational context derived from the COVID-19 Pandemic, as a new contagious disease worldwide, giving rise to online classes as a new modality in education. Objective: To analyze and discover what the learning of third-semester students was with the use and adaptation of platforms as a focus group of the Angel Albino Corzo Mixed Militarized Preparatory School. Methodology: A semi-structured questionnaire (with open and closed questions) was applied with the use of the Google Forms digital instrument with a determined time of 20 minutes to obtain ephemeral results attached to reality were applied to 162 students out of 315, for collection and analysis. of data. The research was carried out from the quantitative method of descriptive scope. Results: The results show that the learning expected in times of the Pandemic was not what was desired, mainly in the subject of Mathematics, however, they acquire skills and abilities in the praxis of using resources and software to carry out learning activities. Conclusions: Rethinking the educational universe is fundamental for the acquisition and construction of techno-pedagogical knowledge, carrying out courses-workshops before, during and after each school year.
