Mukhannathun / mujannaduna (مخنثون), divergent stories in Islam
Abstract
This research will present the historical context of the mukhannathun, its relationship with Islam over time, the theological support it has been given, and its connection with current Muslim sex-gender diversity, particularly trans women.
