Abstract

In this article we make a critical and historical analysis of Palestinian poets and their works, like Mahmoud Darwish, Fadwa Tuqan and Refaat Alareer. The main focus of this essay is to study how their works have functioned as a way for resistance to be expressed through poetic resources. In this way, poetry serves to recount Palestinian history and preserve collective and individual memory.
