Abstract

Abstract: One of the current problems faced by the Chiapas social context is the uprooting of cultural belongings, with this, it leads to what is known as: loss of cultural identity. The theoretical proposal, in the first place, that is made in this research, is to outline in a general way the situation of the social space of Copoya, Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas and its original zoque population.

In Copoya, it is where zoques traditions are still conserved and rooted in their totality, as much in meals, costumes, festivities, cosmovisions, etc. zoque culture is the original population of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, as well as other neighboring states such as Oaxaca and Tabasco, and other states. zoque culture is one of the ethnic groups that represents and identifies the inhabitants of the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. In today's contemporary era, the dynamics of globalization have disintegrated that cultural roots with new social practices that are inappropriate to the social context of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, particularly Copoya. Young generations are the easy target and are those who suffer the effects of globalization, building a kind of ideology and culture different from their own.

One of the objectives of this work is to make the study proposal of the zoques of Copoya to highlight the immaterial wealth that is, on the other hand, to question the cultural uprooting that prevails in the different social contexts of Mexico and the world.
