Abstract

The present article analyzed the composition Non Omnis moriar by the poet Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera, forerunner of Mexican modernism. It aims to register the syntax-phonological strategies and examine the rhetoric speech’s construction in the lyric poem. The modernism poem manifests the poetic transfiguration of the author to its creation, deny the death or end of the artist.
