Reflections and proposals around the evaluation of teaching performance
Experiences of certified evaluators
Abstract
This article arises from the research entitled “Experiences of certified evaluating teachers. Analysis of the performance evaluation in Mexico”. The objective of this text is to present the proposals of the certified evaluators on the improvements towards a teaching evaluation, understanding it as a necessary process to strengthen the Mexican Educational System. The reflections presented here revolve around three categories: Who should evaluate teachers? What should be evaluated? And with what instruments to evaluate? Product of the reflections and experiences of the interviewed evaluators.
